DIGITAL TWINS
A Cinematic Experiment by Serani
What if identity could be reimagined — not replaced?
The Digital Twin Series explores the intersection of human likeness and synthetic creativity. Each portrait begins with a real person — a collaborator, a muse, a creative — then evolves into a hyper-real digital twin capable of infinite expression, age, and story.
This is where traditional photography meets artificial intelligence.
The lens becomes code. Light becomes data.
And identity becomes a canvas.
The series features Manfred, Mark, and Serani — three distinct personalities reinterpreted through cinematic AI. Each image carries the emotion and depth of a photograph, yet exists only as pixels, trained memory, and direction.
Through digital twin creation, Serani challenges how we define representation in modern media. These portraits are not substitutes for reality — they are extensions of it.
A twin does not replace. It reveals.
