With a Master’s Degree in Cinematography from the renowned Tomas Bata University in Zlín, Czech Republic, and a parallel education in Photography Design from the Private School of Applied Arts in Žilina, Barbora Brothankova brings both artistic vision and technical mastery to every project.

Her early work quickly gained recognition. Three of her student films were officially selected for multiple international film festivals - a testament to her ability to craft images that are both visually striking and emotionally resonant.

Over the past five years, she has collaborated with Serani on a variety of productions, consistently delivering work that is artistic, precise, and beautifully executed. Whether behind the camera or in the edit suite, she approaches each frame with a cinematographer’s eye and an editor’s instinct for storytelling rhythm.
