ABOUT SERANI

CREATIVE PRINCIPAL

Serani is a creative principal with more than three decades of experience across the international film and commercial industries. She began her career on global productions with icons Bruce Beresford, Sean Connery, and Eric Roberts before moving into music video direction for Sony BMG and EMI in the 90s — experiences that shaped her instinct for emotionally charged, visually distinctive narratives.

Her commercial work earned international recognition when she directed an award-winning Super Bowl spot for Chevrolet USA, which led to her position as Executive Producer at Production Inc. in Prague, co-producers of Quentin Tarantino’s "Hostel."

In recent years, Serani has expanded her creative passion into photography, AI-driven production, and hybrid cinematic storytelling. Her mental-health micro-short "Rising to the Surface" (filmed underwater in open waters) was screened at the Great Lakes Mental Health Film Festival in Australia, and her tribal photography collection, EXILE, won Best Experimental Photography at the UK Cinematography and Photography Awards - Winter Edition 2025. She continues to explore feminist narratives through projects like SOVEREIGNTY - a fashion-photography collection and micro-short film.

She recently served as Creative Director for the LIFESAVER Project, a European EU-funded biotech project moving into commercialisation, where she led strategic communication and visual strategy.

As Creative Principal of Serani Studio, she integrates filmmaking, photography, and emerging technologies into a single cinematic language that governs all brand work.
