SELECTED WORK

Serani Hunyi is a director, producer, and visual storyteller working across film, photography, and strategic communication.

Her career spans more than three decades across the international film, television, and commercial industries. She began her career on A Good Man in Africa, directed by Bruce Beresford, before working on productions starring Sean Connery and Eric Roberts and later moving into music video direction for Sony BMG and EMI.

Her commercial work gained international recognition following an award-winning Super Bowl campaign for Chevrolet USA, later leading to her appointment as Executive Producer at Prague-based Production Inc., co-producer of Quentin Tarantino's Hostel.

Alongside her work in film and commercial production, Serani has led strategic communication and dissemination initiatives for European-funded projects, combining cinematic storytelling with complex subject matter.

Her photography collections EXILE, SOVEREIGNTY, and THE GOVERNESS have received multiple international awards. Her mental health micro-short, Rising to the Surface, screened at the Great Lakes Mental Health Film Festival in Australia.

Serani is currently directing and producing CALIBRATION, a psychological dystopian drama set in near-future Prague. The original screenplay by L.B. Schulman won at the Austin International Film Festival and was selected for the Sofia World Film Festival before being adapted into a feature-length production.

Serani's work is characterised by a cinematic approach to storytelling that bridges film, photography, and visual storytelling.
